Rho Kappa Returns to Pamlico with New Opportunities

By Natalee Paul

With the opening of Pamlico’s new school building come many exciting opportunities. Namely, the return of Rho Kappa: the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that identifies outstanding knowledge in the field of social studies and history.

There’s already been a lot of interest shown towards the club as it begins its first year, and members have plenty of ideas and thoughts about the future. So far, the most anticipated possibilities are field trips to historical sites, giving students the chance to explore and learn outside the classroom.

Along with plans for exciting trips, leadership roles have begun to take shape. Many have expressed interest in various officer positions, and the club held an induction ceremony just last week. Congratulations to everyone who is applying, and best of luck to the club as it begins this new chapter at Pamlico.
